Bawumia leads in 14 regions among delegates – InfoAnalytics

According to a recent Global Info Analytics survey, former vice president and prospective flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia holds a commanding lead in 14 of the 16 regions of the nation for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) upcoming presidential primary.

Dr. Bawumia is ranked higher in the following regions: Ahafo, Ashanti, Bono, Bono East, Eastern, Greater Accra, North East, Northern, Oti, Savannah, Upper East, Upper West, Western, and Western North. The survey was conducted between November 17 and 21, 2025.

According to the research, Kennedy Agyapong remained ahead in the Volta region, while the contest was fiercely contested in the Central region, where delegates were split nearly evenly.

The survey’s findings demonstrated Dr. Bawumia’s widespread regional appeal, but when delegates got ready to cast their votes in January 2026, pockets of competition indicated critical battlegrounds remained.

With a 99% confidence level and a margin of error of ±2.12%, the survey, which was completed by 3,500 delegates nationally, provided a thorough overview of the party’s internal dynamics before to the primaries.
