Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai MCE and driver killed in bloody collision

Mr. Alfred Amoah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Western North Region’s Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai municipality, passed away in a horrific tragedy.

A trailer truck traveling from Kumasi to Accra with the license plate AS 4229-X reportedly broke an axle and lost control a short distance from the Birim River on the Accra-Kumasi highway.

According to information acquired by the media, a trailer truck collided with the MCE’s car with the license plate GC 2060-18 as he was driving from Accra to Kumasi, completely wrecking it.

Both Mr. Alfred Amoah and his unidentified driver passed away in a single moment.

The remains were still inside the wrecked car when this report was submitted.

However, there were police officers from the Ghana Fire Service and the Ghana Police Service present at the scene of the collision.
