In a statement on February 6, the Ministry stated that it is creating a cutting-edge, technologically advanced toll collection system to guarantee effectiveness and transparency.

It is anticipated that the planned system will improve revenue collection, the Ministry said in a statement.

In pursuit of this goal, the Ministry has committed to implementing a procurement process that is open, transparent, competitive, economical, and equitable.

“The Ministry wishes to assure the public of commitment to introducing a modernized system that addresses the current tolling and road maintenance funding challenges of the country,” it continued.
