Leading pollster Mussa Dankwah has released a fresh regional analysis of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer race, which indicates that Dr. Bryan Acheampong is quickly becoming the disruptive force changing the campaign.
All three of the leading candidates, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia (DMB), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong (KOA), and Dr. Bryan Acheampong (DBA), are still competitive in Greater Accra, although Acheampong’s impact is most noticeable in Ashanti and the Eastern Regions.
Acheampong has gained a lot of support in Ashanti, the traditional center of NPP politics, and is admired for his composed leadership and strategic acumen. Analysts think Acheampong’s next actions, particularly in the remaining swing areas, might further tip the scales and establish him as a strong candidate with widespread popularity after his campaign visit of three crucial regions.
