In the Central region’s Awutu Bereku, enraged locals almost lynched a prophet for supposedly trying to have sex with a married woman.
It is said that Spiritual IGP, also known as Prophet Kwesi Nsonyameye Yaka, was caught in the act.
The woman was reportedly informed by Graceland Chapel International’s founder and leader that she needed spiritual cleansing because of her marital problems.
Subsequently, he persuaded the woman that the spirits that were torturing her could only be banished by a spiritual purification that involved them sharing a bed.
The woman then revealed the prophet’s evil intentions to her family. Then, in her married home, they set up a surprise attack and caught the man of God pants down.
Following the story, Kofi Adjei of Adom News reported that the prophet was stripped naked and severely beaten by enraged residents.
If not for the help of a few kind neighbors, Spiritual IGP would have been burned at the stake.
The religious leader has engaged in sexual misconduct before, not just in this particular incident.
He was taken into custody for allegedly defiling a minor exactly one year ago. In response to questions, he said he was engaged in spiritual cleansing.
Locals, meanwhile, stated that they are not shocked by the prophet’s behavior.
In an interview with Adom News, a local named Esi Gyamfua called the self-described prophet a “womaniser.”
She asserted that curvaceous plus-size women with large breasts are his preference.
