Supporters of Muntaka Mubarak and his rival Masawudu Mubarak engaged into a fight, which the Ghana Police Service quickly put an end to.

The police officers’ involvement stopped the confusion from getting worse.

The incumbent Asawase MP was allegedly booed by some Masawudu Mubarick supporters as he left the polling place after casting his vote, according to Muntaka supporters.

The supporters got into a quick free-for-all brawl as a result of the claim.

However, since the cops got involved, calm has been returned.

Sources from the constituency indicates that a delegate came after 5pm to vote and the rival did not allow him to vote and that brought about the confusion.

As of the time of filling this report counting has just begun for both presidential and parliamentary.
