In order to fulfill its responsibility to organize the party’s youth, the CPP National Youth League has instituted an aggressive member reorganization campaign in tertiary institutions.
The CPP Greater Accra Youth League, under the direction of Comrade Jerry Aidoo, kicked off the event by visiting many institutions, including the University of Ghana Legon and the University of Professional Studies.
Comrade Ebenezer Tetteh, also known as Comrade TT, who represented the National Youth Organizer and oversaw the entire program, said he was satisfied with it. He is the deputy national youth organizer in charge of operations.
The Greater Accra Youth league under the leadership of Comrade Jerry has vowed to organize more events in the coming weeks to elect interim executives of the party and political lectures to educate the Youth about the Ideology of the CPP.
Over 300 students were recruited at the University of Ghana alone, according to Comrade Sarfo Hammond, the CPP’s coordinator for the Greater Accra Tertiary Education Branches, who spoke with our reporters.
Many constituencies unprecedentedly reform of the CPP’s Tertiary branches included youth organizers from the Greater Accra region as well.
Comrade Osei Kofi Acquah, the CPP’s National Youth Organizer, expressed his thoughts about the program and commended the CPP Greater Accra Youth League for setting the standard and running a successful one.
He has made suggestions that the Greater Accra Youth League objective will be imitated by other Regional CPP Youth leagues.
