Kennedy Agyapong, a prospective presidential candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has declared that he will never drop out of the race.
Tuesday night, the Assin Central Member of Parliament gave a speech to party members in the New Juaben North seat in the Eastern Region. He urged them to dismiss rumors that he might drop out of the race near the end of the election to back another candidate.
Kennedy Agyapong wants to add grassroot tradition to the NPP’s Dankwa-Busia-Dombo tradition in order to transfer authority from the party’s elites to the grassroots.
Mr. Kennedy Agyapong took some time to talk about the significant resources and resources he personally gave to the NPP since its founding in 1993.
He charged some government officials with having a sense of entitlement since they have amassed wealth over night without contributing a dollar to the party.
If the party’s delegates continue to support those who take them for granted, Mr. Agyapong declared he will step down from politics and enjoy his wealth.
