Dr. Akoto pledges to introduce life-changing policies for the betterment of all NPP members

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer candidate Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto has urged the party’s grassroots supporters to support him in the presidential election on November 4, 2023.

He underlined the necessity of reforming the party to have it ready for the general elections in 2024.

Dr. Akoto pledged to put sustainable policies into action in order to restore NPP members’ faith and optimism.

He emphasized how crucial it is for each member to experience a sense of pride in and gain from their membership in the party.

Dr. Akoto promised to introduce game-changing policies for the benefit of all party members while speaking to selected NPP delegates.

He emphasized the criticality of comprehending the issues facing the populace and offering workable solutions.

Over 600 designated NPP delegates from Team Akoto met at Dr. Akoto’s campaign office in Accra for the meeting to support his campaign in the Greater Accra Region.

Dr. Akoto, an economist with a degree from Cambridge University, discussed his reform plan, which calls for creating party-owned businesses to pay wages to grassroots activists. He used Taiwan and South Africa as examples of places where comparable tactics had been successful.

He reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to looking out for the delegates’ best interests while highlighting the critical role that enthusiastic grassroots supporters play in ensuring the party’s political viability. Dr. Akoto stressed that he is in a unique position to put their interests first and that by working together, they can end the eight-year cycle of government in the elections of 2024.

Delegates expressed trust in Dr. Akoto’s plans for the party and the country and applauded his sustainable programs and clean campaign strategy. Dr. Akoto will be listed third on the ballot when the NPP selects its presidential candidates on November 4, 2023. The National Delegates Conference is anticipated to draw more than 210,000 delegates.
