“Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh is a fantastic person if you get to know him well” – NDC MP

Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) member of parliament for Cape Coast South in the Central Region, has vehemently supported Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, who has come under fire from some quarters for his arrogance.

The NDC MP disputes the assertions that NAPO, or Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as he is often known, is a pompous person. He remarked that upon getting to know NAPO thoroughly, one will discover what a fantastic individual he is.

“Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh is a fantastic person if you get to know him well. He is very assertive and can be bold at times, but that cannot be an attribute of arrogance in the real sense of the word. He is very fantastic if you ask me” the MP stated.

He also said that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh is a brilliant man who engages in thoughtful argument, yet his perspective is unfathomable because it is haughty. “Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh is all about intellectual debates,” he asserted.

He emphasized that Napo is not just affable and cordial but also fervently committed to his profession.

Last Monday, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was overwhelmingly approved by the National Executive Council (NEC) of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to be Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s running mate in the 2024 general elections.

The party claims that Dr. Opoku Prempeh satisfies every need for the running mate post, which is why he received universal approval.

The fact that Dr. Opoku Prempeh is a shown achiever was emphasized by the party’s general secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong.

The Manhyia South MP, according to Kodua Frimpong, has the attributes required to fortify the party’s ticket and win the next election.
