Dr. Opoku Prempeh (Napo) inaugurated the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) in Afram Plains North as part of the campaign tour, demonstrating the NPP’s dedication to economic development and infrastructure.

He urged people to support NPP presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in order to sustain the country’s and the region’s growth momentum.

“By voting for Dr Bawumia, you are not just choosing a leader, you are choosing progress and transformation. The District Road Improvement Project is just one example of the many initiatives we are ready to bring to this area. Let’s work together to build a better future for Afram Plains. The introduction of the DRIP machines is a clear testament to the NPP’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure, and it shows Dr Bawumia’s dedication to improving the lives of Ghanaians.”

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has advised Afram Plains North voters not to consistently support the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking to the chiefs, locals, Zongo chiefs, and party members, NAPO stressed that supporting the NDC has traditionally slowed down the growth of Donkorkrom and the Afram Plains region as a whole.

He attacked the NDC for not being genuinely committed to the development of the area, emphasizing how the party ignores the needs of the community despite routinely garnering a sizable amount of support from the constituency in prior elections.

“Despite the overwhelming support the NDC has received from you over the years, they continue to neglect your needs. It’s time to change that narrative. The NPP, unlike the NDC, does not discriminate. We are a party for all, and we are committed to the development of every corner of this country, including Afram Plains.”

Throughout his address, Napo emphasized that, in contrast to the NDC, which he charged of discriminating against Afram Plains, the NPP is still an inclusive party that puts the needs of all Ghanaians first. In order to assure further progress, he asked the populace to reevaluate their voting habits and back the NPP in the next elections.

Jeffery Ohene Konadu, the NPP’s Eastern Regional Chairman, and Anim Asiamah, the PC for Afram Plains North, both addressed and urged the locals and chiefs to for the NPP this time. Both of them reaffirmed the party’s commitment to providing much-needed development to the region and pleaded with voters to allow the NPP to show their mettle.

“For many years, you have put your confidence in the NDC, but where has that led us? It’s time to adapt. Give the NPP an opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities for the Afram Plains people. This region is ready for transformation by the NPP. Plans exist for jobs, education, and infrastructure. Let’s collaborate to create Afram Plains North if you vote for the NPP, he remarked.
