Dr. Kwabena Duffour, a former finance minister and National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer candidate, has vowed to never desert the party’s grassroots if he is elected president of Ghana in the 2024 elections.
Dr. Duffuor said he will not behave in the same way as his predecessors who won the election and neglected the grassroots supporters when speaking to constituency chairmen, branch executives, and party supporters in the Gomoa West Constituency.
He claims to be the only candidate who will consider the needs of the grassroots supporters and ensure that they are met.
If elected, Dr. Duffuor promised to make sure Branch and Constituency Executives receive a monthly salary for their hard work.
Also, he promised to replace the current rented facilities with permanent regional party offices across the nation with enough resources.
Dr. Duffuor emphasized that the moment had come for Ghanaians to experience rapid growth in all spheres, and he said he was the best and only candidate to take them to their destination.
He urged the Branch and Constituency Executives to support him in the party’s primaries on May 13 so that he might lead the group to victory in the future general election in 2024.
