Political parties have been invited by the Electoral Commission (EC) to send two collation agents apiece to the Greater Accra Region’s Tema Central Constituency parliamentary results collation.
The collation will be held in the EC’s Greater Accra Regional Office, which is close to Ridge Hospital in Accra, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 7:00 a.m.
The EC asked that the names of the two agents be sent in advance via the same communication channel that was used to send the invitation in a message sent to the parties.
One of the most important steps in determining Tema Central’s parliamentary election results is the collation procedure.
To guarantee accuracy and transparency in the vote-counting process, this exercise will bring together EC officials, political party representatives, and other interested parties.
The Returning Officer claimed in a statement that he reported the results under duress, despite the fact that this constituency had previously been proclaimed in favor of Ebi Bright, the NDC’s candidate.
