Juliana Kinang Wassan, a National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Ejura Sekyeredumase seat, was caught throwing money to delegates during the NDC primaries on Saturday, May 13, 2023, in violation of the law.
In full front of the security personnel and Muhammad Bawah Braimah, the incumbent MP, she showered cash on voters at the voting grounds at the Ahmadiya School Park.
She admitted to having the money in her car and choosing to share it when a reporter questioned her about her motivations.
The incident’s footage has now become popular on social media.
