Free SHS students to go on Easter break

The management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has informed heads of senior high schools using the transitional calendar that first-year pupils are to continue their holiday until June 2023.

In order to enable a smooth academic year, it has advised Regional Directors to instruct heads of second-cycle schools in their respective regions to “take note and comply accordingly.”

In a press release signed by its Deputy Director-General, Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh, it also reminded heads of SHSs and Senior High Technical Schools that “students should break on Thursday, April 6, 2023, for the Easter holidays.”
