The Frimpong-Manso Institute has sent political parties a timely warning, advising them against pushing boundaries in their demands as Ghana prepares for the 2024 elections.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) protested and demanded a forensic audit of the voter registration, which is when this appeal was made.

In a press release dated September 18, 2024, the Institute urged the NDC to tread carefully, ensuring their actions remain within the confines of the law.

The Institute’s statement emphasized the importance of using democratic processes to address grievances, rather than resorting to measures that could potentially spark violence.

The Frimpong-Manso Institute also asked on the Electoral Commission of Ghana to provide a listening ear to real concerns and acceptable proposals aimed at upgrading the electoral process.

Ghanaians are looking forward to a democratic and peaceful election process as the 2024 polls approach, and the Frimpong-Manso Institute’s call for calm is a poignant reminder of how important it is to work together to achieve this goal. The Institute’s statement emphasizes the need for cooperation, transparency, and peaceful elections, with a focus on Ghana’s stability and development.
