GFA boss Kurt Okraku commiserates with Pooley’s family

The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) president, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, met Francis Nana Yaw “Pooley” Frimpong’s wife and family during his visit to the Kumasi house of the late Asante Kotoko super supporter.

The visit happened on February 20, 2025, a Thursday.

Mr. Simeon-Okraku offered the bereaved family his condolences and words of support and consolation following the stabbing murder of their cherished family member.

The Ashanti Regional Football Association Executives, led by Chairman Osei Tutu Agyemang, Frederick Acheampong, James Kwasi Appiah, a member of the GFA Executive Council and the top official of Kotoko IMC, and Kumasi Asante Kotoko, the supporters, joined and supported the GFA boss.

Mr. Simeon-Okraku had previously met behind closed doors with the Interim Management Committee and the club’s supporters’ leadership at the Asante Kotoko Headquarters in Kumasi.
