Nsoatreman FC is accused of violating Section 16 of the GFA Disciplinary Code, 2019 and Article 42(6) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2019 in a letter to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) demanding to leave the Premier League.
These accusations are related to events that occurred on Sunday, February 2, 2025, during their Matchday 19 Ghana Premier League matchup with Asante Kotoko at Nana Konamansah Park.
Violent outbursts and lawlessness overshadowed Nsoatreman’s 1-0 triumph, causing one fatality, numerous injuries, and substantial property damage.
The club is accused of failing to keep its fans under control, as they fired missiles onto the field, broke in, attacked a member of Asante Kotoko’s media partner, damaged the property of the away team and the media partner, and more.
Nsoatreman is also charged with preventing a media partner with GFA authorization from filming the game.
