On Monday, March 20, 2023, Chris Hughton, the head coach of the Black Stars, will be introduced in Kumasi as part of the preparation for the game against Angola.
To share his vision, philosophy, and expectations with the general public in Kumasi, the previous boss of Brighton and Hove Albion and Tottenham Hornets will be introduced to the media.
The Football Association will use the first media interaction between the manager and the media in Kumasi as a venue to announce the manager’s goals, conditions of engagement, and other pertinent information.
Prior to Ghana’s critical FIFA World Cup qualifying play-off match against Nigeria, Coach Hughton joined the Stars technical staff in March of last year as Otto Addo’s technical adviser.
Up until his nomination as formal coach last month, the 64-year-old trainer of Irish and Ghanaian ancestry continued to serve the squad during Ghana’s FIFA World Cup campaign in Qatar, where the Black Stars were eliminated at the group stage.
