For the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton has selected a 55-man preliminary squad.
With just 24 days till the competition begins, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) released its squad on Wednesday, December 20.
There are 11 Ghana Premier League players on the tentative list, with Medeama SC, the league winners, having the most players.
Asante Kotoko and Nations FC each have two players on the Medeama team, while Great Olympics and Dreams FC have five players total.
Tariq Lamptey and Kamaldeen Sulemana, who are both nursing injuries, have been added to the list alongside Thomas Partey, who is presently recuperating from his injury.
Under Hughton, Yaw Yeboah who won the 2023 MLS Cup with Columbus Crew and Brandon Thomas-Asante both receive their first call-ups.
