The nation’s economic problems will be solved this year, according to a prophecy made by Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, the founder and leader of Perez Chapel International.
However, according to the Archbishop, God’s “great power” will bring about the turnaround rather than political parties.
Addressing congregants at the Church’s 31st ‘Night of Prophecy and Power” in Accra, Archbishop Agyinasare encouraged Christians to brace up for a better year.
“This country is going through difficulties, but there are difficulties that will be resolved in 2024, not because of political parties, but because God has decided that it is His year of great power,” he said.
Since 2022, Ghana has faced economic difficulties due to high living expenses, rising inflation, and the Cedi’s depreciation against the US dollar.
The nation has applied for assistance from the International Monetary Fund in an effort to stabilize and boost public confidence in the economy.
The economy began to recover in the final quarter of 2023, as evidenced by the lowest level of inflation in 13 months, which was 26.4%.
2023, according to Archbishop Agyinasare, will be remembered as the Year of God’s faithfulness because God has been steadfast in the face of political unrest and other difficulties faced by some African nations.
He said that 2024 would witness the manifestation of God’s power throughout the nation, which is why the Church had selected “Our Year of God’s Power” as its theme.
In order to help the gospel be more widely disseminated throughout society, Archbishop Agyinasare called on Christians to commit themselves fully to God’s work in 2024 and made a plea to the wealthy to make investments in the Church.
