Ghana’s Chef Smith is the new world cook-a-thon record holder

At 802 hours and 25 minutes, Ghanaian chef Ebenezer Smith, also referred to as Chef Smith, now holds the title of the longest cooking marathon by an individual held by any person in the world.

In order to formally reveal the good news, Chef Smith is currently getting ready for a press conference at the La Palm Beach Hotel.

But, visitors can get a preview of what’s about to happen in a few hours thanks to a banner at the conference room entrance where the announcement will be made.

His team held a press conference today to unveil him as the New World Cook-a-thon Record Holder with an incredible 802 hours, 25 minutes to dethrone Irish King, Alan Fisher”

On February 1, Chef Smith started his cook-a-thon journey with the goal of breaking the previous record. He set out to cook for 1200 hours, but ended up cooking for 820 hours, finishing his marathon on March 6.
