The New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, told the chiefs and residents of Kenyasi Number One in the Ahafo region’s Asutifi North Constituency that the current road work would be finished in time for the December 2024 election.
Speaking during a courtesy call on the Chief of Kenyasi Number One, Dr. Bawumia stated that the project’s contractor will shortly return to work, with asphalt layering scheduled to start in the next few days.
“Nananom, I understand the importance of the Kenyasi road to this community,” he said. “I have spoken to the contractor to ensure the project is completed before the December polls.
“Within less than a week, the first layer will be laid, and the road will be in better condition. The contractor’s equipment has arrived, so trust me, we will have it tarred before December 7.”
In addition, Dr. Bawumia underlined his dedication to the constituency’s educational system, promising to raise educational standards and accessibility for all citizens.
Day two of Dr. Bawumia’s trip in the Ahafo Region has begun. He will travel to the remaining three constituencies, which are Asutifi North, Tano North, and Tano South.
According to the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), he would meet with local chiefs, pastors, imams, and party members to share his vision and explain why he thinks Ghanaians should vote for him.
