The Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Mr Haruna Iddrisu, has dismissed fake series of promotional posters spreading on social media that imply he plans to run for the flagbearership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Minister’s office emphasized that the posters did not come from Hon. Iddrisu or any official sources linked to him.

The statement called on the public to dismiss the materials, labeling them as unauthorized and deceptive.

The statement indicates that Hon. Iddrisu is dedicated to his ongoing duties as Minister for Education and as the chosen representative for Tamale South.

It noted that he is currently in Lusaka, Zambia, where he is accompanying President John Dramani Mahama for official activities.

The Minister is reportedly collaborating with the President to promote the government’s “Reset Ghana” agenda, focusing specifically on reforms and initiatives in the education sector, which is part of his ministerial responsibilities.

The Minister’s Office thanked the public for their ongoing support and collaboration and reaffirmed its dedication to open communication regarding Hon. Iddrisu’s official responsibilities.
