The High Court in Accra has directed the attorneys in the matter concerning Patricia Asieduaa, commonly referred to as Nana Agradaa, and her co-defendant to officially present the complaints of their suggested plea agreement before the upcoming hearing.

The Court mandated that the agreement must be submitted by three clear days prior to the postponed date of December 16, 2025.

During Tuesday’s session (December 2), state prosecutors mentioned they were thinking about seeking a bench warrant for the second suspect, but the defense lawyer contended they had not received the required notice for the hearing.

The judge then instructed the Court Registry to guarantee appropriate service prior to the next hearing.

Lawyer for Nana Agradaa informed the Court that discussions with the Office of the Attorney-General regarding a potential plea deal were “well progressed,” leading to a request for a brief adjournment.

The prosecution stated that the complainant, Pastor Emmanuel Appiah Fumum (commonly known as Osofo Biblical), had engaged in the current discussions and attended court.

The situation arises from accusations that Nana Agradaa—once a fetish priestess and currently an evangelist—posting private images of the complainant on her TV station and social media channels without his consent.

Prosecutors allege that the images were displayed during a live show where panelists made derogatory remarks, breaching the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), which prohibits the non-consensual distribution of intimate images.

Nana Agradaa, currently serving a 15-year prison sentence in an unrelated fraud case, attended the proceedings.

Defense lawyers also expressed worries regarding recent media interviews conducted with the complainant, in which he reportedly commented on their client’s situation in prison.

The trial judge urged the prosecution to warn the complainant against issuing such public declarations while the case is in progress.
