Justin Kodua Frimpong, the general secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has played down the perception held by certain Ghanaians and party members that he has been the party’s soft executive ever since he was elected.
Lawyer Frimpong Kodua revealed in an exclusive interview on OTEC FM’s afternoon political talk show that he has been the party’s sole general secretary to deal with the most number of by-elections and other difficulties.
He claims that during the party’s internal elections, there were problems and complaints, so he had to visit the entire nation to address them and promote harmony.
“I would not take that tag from anyone that I am weak. I have performed well and you can go to every constituency in the country and ask, they will give you evidence. I have the track record”, he told host of Dwabrem Prince Nii Ade (Dok Cash).
However, lawyer Justin Kodua advised all party members to keep fighting, accept their loss with grace, put an end to the finger-pointing, and put in a lot of effort to advance the party in the future.
