Former Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Mayor Kojo Bonsu is confident he will lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) into the 2024 general election by winning the NDC presidential primary.
“I think I have the confidence and trust in myself to be one of the people to lead the NDC into the 2024 general elections. ”
Following his vetting by the NDC’s Vetting Committee, which was led by former Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho, Mr. Bonsu made this statement.
According to Mr. Bonsu, his goal as president of Ghana is to market the nation in order to draw the required foreign capital for quick socioeconomic growth.
When granted the chance to be President, he declared that his government would prioritize problems of national security, economic stability, and unity.
To guarantee success in the general election of 2024, Mr. Bonsu urged Party members to band together.
To choose a flagbearer and legislative candidates for the 2024 elections, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will conduct its presidential and parliamentary primaries on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
Aspirants have selected their different slots as part of the arrangements for a smooth event.
John Dramani Mahama, a former president of Ghana, selected the number one spot,Kojo Bonsu picked number 2 as Dr Kwabena Duffour got the 3rd on the ballot for the NDC’s presidential primaries.
