“I’ve known John Mahama for 30 years, and he is a genuinely good man” – Nana Yaa Jantuah

Former Convention People’s Party (CPP) general secretary Nana Yaa Jantuah has stated that she would be willing to serve in John Mahama’s government should he win the next general elections in December.

She boldly declared that she had a good understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of both the NPP and NDC based on her experience working with their leaders.

“I don’t dislike the UP tradition, but having worked with everyone, I know who is good, sincere, and honest.

When comparing, I know who truly cares and who doesn’t deceive.

I have known John Mahama for 30 years, and he is a genuinely good man.

Sometimes when I hear the things said about him in public, I wonder who they are talking about because it doesn’t match his personality,” she stated.

Reiterating her devotion to the CPP, Nana Yaa Jantuah underlined that she has not given thought to defecting to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

She underlined how dedicated she was to the goals and principles of the CPP.

She said, “I’m still with the CPP, I haven’t given it any thought, and I think the CPP has a strong brand.”

In an interview with Channel One TV, Madam Jantuah ruled out taking a ministerial position in the event that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, won the election.
