On Tuesday evening, April 2, 2024, Kenyan President William Ruto landed in Accra, Ghana, to begin a three-day state visit.
Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia welcomed him cordially at the Kotoka International Airport upon his arrival.
President Ruto will hold bilateral talks with President Nana Akufo-Addo during his visit, with the objective of strengthening commercial, diplomatic, and historical ties between Kenya and the West African country.
President Ruto’s schedule also includes a visit to the Africa Continental Free Trade Area headquarters in Accra, in addition to the bilateral discussions.
In addition, he is scheduled to give the keynote speech at the Ghana-Kenya business Forum, emphasizing chances for cooperation and partnership between the corporate communities of the two nations.
