Under the direction of well-known contractor Mr. Kofi Job and his spouse, Dr. Esther Gyebi, the Kofi Job Foundation has contributed GH₵1 million cedis to help patients in three major Kumasi hospitals who are having financial difficulties.
The facilities at Kumasi South Hospital, Tafo Government Hospital, and Manhyia District Hospital were in terrible shape because the patients were unable to pay their fees after obtaining treatment.
The donation was divided among Tafo Government Hospital, Manhyia Government Hospital, and Kumasi South Hospital with the goal of easing the financial pressures on the less fortunate.
Patients of various ages, including adults and children with severe medical issues, benefited from the program.
Speaking at the donation ceremony, Kofi Job encouraged individuals with financial means to support those in need instead of placing the entire burden on the government.
Hon. Kofi Job also covered the entire cost of surgery for three children who were given a cancer diagnosis as part of the program, providing them with the opportunity to get life-saving care at Kumasi South Hospital.
The foundation’s generosity was much appreciated by the hospital officials, who described the gesture as a timely intervention that has given struggling families hope again.
Additionally, they called on the foundation to come and assist these three by providing them with machinery and equipment that will enable them to deliver high-quality healthcare.
The Kofi Job Foundation has reaffirmed its dedication to enhancing lives throughout Ghana by making a major contribution to healthcare and humanitarian aid.
