Kojo Bonsu, a potential NDC flagbearer, has conceded defeat to former President John Dramani Mahama in the party’s ongoing primary process.
Although voting is long over, the presidential election’s ballot counting and collation are still ongoing. Election officials anticipate finishing the process completely by 10 o’clock.
The former mayor of Kumasi, Kojo Bonsu, said on Facebook that he had called John Mahama to congratulate him on winning the presidential primary by a wide margin.
John Mahama’s camp forecasts at least a 98% victory in the election, while the party has yet to formally disclose polling results.
Kojo Bonsu posted this on his Facebook wall“I have placed a call to H.E. John Dramani Mahama to congratulate him for the landslide victory. Just as I’ve indicated throughout my campaign, regardless of the outcome of this election I’ll continue to serve the NDC party”.
