The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) has completed the first phase of an ambitious infrastructure improvement initiative designed to uplift the school’s facilities and learning environment.

The completed works include renovations, expansions, and repainting of key facilities on campus. The PTA says is part of a broader plan to align KTI’s infrastructure with the needs of modern technical education. The newly renovated facilities are expected to be officially handed over to the school authorities in the coming days.

With Phase One successfully completed, the PTA is calling on benevolent individuals, alumni, NGOs, and political leaders to lend their support for the continuation of the project. According to the Association, community participation is crucial in transforming KTI into a model institution for technical training in Ghana.

They believe that with more support, the school can not only enhance its infrastructure but also significantly boost academic outcomes and skills development for students.

The PTA is planning a second phase of renovation after completing the first phase and is counting on public support.

The renovation project is necessary, given that the school has not seen major renovations in 30 years.

The PTA’s initiative aims to enhance the learning environment and provide students with modern facilities.
