The New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman Stephen Ntim has called on party leaders and members to work together to make sure that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s flagbearer, wins handily in the upcoming 2024 elections.
In an address to party members, executives, failed presidential candidates, members of parliament, former members of parliament, appointees, and former president John Agyekum Kufuor, among others, Mr. Ntim made this call.
Ntim emphasized the value of putting aside differences and promoting unity among party members at the UPSA auditorium in Accra, where NPP flagbearer Dr. Bawumia will deliver a national address on Wednesday, February 7.
In order to secure the party’s continued dominance in the 10th parliament, he urged recently elected parliamentary candidates and party executives to interact with unelected candidates and create strong constituency campaign teams.
Ntim stressed the necessity of unity for success, stating, “When we stand united, we are unstoppable. Let’s join hands and march in unity towards a resounding first-round victory on December 7. It’s indeed possible.”
Showcasing Dr. Bawumia’s selection as the party’s flagbearer as evidence of the NPP’s commitment to diversity, Ntim expressed gratitude to Dr. Bawumia for his persistent commitment and diligence.
In the forthcoming polls in 2024, he reaffirmed Dr. Bawumia’s resolve to run for president of the nation.
