Following a devastating loss in their history, Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA), a member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has advised party members from announcing their plans to run for office within the party.
Rather, COKA stressed that the party must concentrate on identifying the reason behind their historic loss and delivering long-term remedies.
Chairman COKA told OTEC News Reporter Jacob Agyenim Boateng on Wednesday that while people have the right to blame the party’s leadership for the defeat, they should be more circumspect in their behavior.
COKA reaffirmed his commitment to aiding the party’s recovery and bringing the grassroots together, but he was silent about his intentions to run for the chairman in the Ashanti Region.
In order to make sure the party is ready for the 2028 elections, COKA promised to use his influence and authority.
His earlier remarks on the value of cooperation and diligence inside the party are echoed in this call to action.
COKA’s remarks serve as a reminder that the NPP’s future success depends on teamwork and self-reflection as the party attempts to reorganize and rebuild.
