The National Democratic Congress (NDC) and former president John Mahama should be soundly defeated in the 2024 elections, according to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate. This will essentially “retiring” them from politics.
The NPP is fighting tooth and nail to hold onto power ahead of the 2024 elections, and the Ashanti Region is expected to be a major battlefield.
