Alex Kwaku Asafo Agyei, a former deputy Ashanti Regional NDC communications officer, and his former boss Abass Nurudeen have at last reconciled.
The pair, who have been at odds for a number of years, were seen laughing and shaking hands as other onlookers watched in a photo taken by Ghanatodayonline.com Evans Agyei Sikapa during the current NDC national delegates congress taking place at the Accra sports stadium.
In the most recent party regional elections, Asafo Agyei, who served as Abass Nurudeen’s deputy from 2018 to 2022, ran against his boss but lost since Abass was able to keep his seat.
Although the reason for the pair’s disagreements is unknown, it is known that they did not get along.
