A list of minority members that has been circulating on social media appears to indicate that they voted in favor of the six ministerial candidates to be confirmed, but the former president has advised supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to disregard it.
On Sunday, March 26, when touring the Ellembelle Constituency in the Western Region, Mr. Mahama spoke with delegates at Kanokoare and referred to the list as “fake.”
“And so, I am urging all NDC supporters to ignore it”, Mr Mahama said.

In a statement on the subject, Mr. Mahama asked the NDC’s disaffected followers to be steadfast in the run-up to the 2024 elections since there are “little battles we have to fight before we go into the main battle.” And that was one of them that we recently fought.
“So, you don’t throw the baby away with the bathwater. I urge you all to remain calm because we need them at this crucial moment”, the former President said.
