Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s flagbearer, asserted that Ghanaians had to choose between the past and the present.

He believes that Ghanaians must decide whether to move in the correct path toward development or not.

Being known as the most diligent Vice President in Ghanaian history, he said he had given a good account of himself.

“John Mahama has been President and did not give a good account of himself. He failed as a President and should not be given another opportunity at the Presidency. I have only been a Vice President and it has been clear that I am the most hard-working Vice President Ghana has had.

I stand for the future Ghanaians require. My goal is to further the progress we have made since assuming power. We have outperformed the NDC in terms of the economy, I can state with absolute certainty as the head of the Economic Management team,” he stated.

Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh has been unveiled as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate by the party in the Ashanti Region.

The opposition National Democratic Congress has received a cautionary note from Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He asserts that there will be no turning back the ruling political party’s win in the 2024 elections.

He said the NDC was fortunate to have postponed its win, since it would have let them to hold onto power until 2008.

In the 2024 elections, however, such an incident will not occur since the New Patriotic Party has figured out a million methods to win.

“In 2008 they delayed us but in the 2024 elections, NDC you cannot stop us. We are winning, it is possible. Tell the NDC people we have one million ways to win the 2024 elections. As a Regional Chairman and the campaign chairman in the Ashanti Region I want the NDC to know that we are winning,” he said.
