The Deputy communications officer for the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Godwin Aku-Gunn is mocking the vice president of the republic of Ghana Dr Mahamudu Bawumia with the recent galloping prices of fuel.
In a Facebook post by Aku-Gunn he stated that the gallon price of diesel in the ex president John Dramani Mahama administration was Ghc14 but he was lambasted by his political opponents for not being sensitive to the plight of Ghanaians but the much touted economic Messiah is now selling a litter of diesel for Ghc14.
“Criticism is the the easiest thing one can do. Hope you remember the statement wait till you become president? The one that rings deeply is posterity will judge me”
The government has blamed the recent fuel price increment on the Russia /Ukraine war but the opposition says it is just mismanagement of the economy.

In 2016,a gallon of diesel was GHC14.00 under John Mahama, and in 2022 a litter of diesel is GHc14.00

I have never seen an honest party than NDC in Ghana. A party that is always for the people, always for development. We are at the crossroad’s for decision making. Don’t wait till 2024, the time is now. Times are unbearably difficult, but there are better days ahead.
