Man purportedly attempts suicide by jumping off the Tamale flyover

A suspected suicide attempt by a middle-aged man who jumped from the Tamale flyover is being looked into, according to police in the Northern Region.

In the incident that happened on Monday, a man in his 30s is thought to have jumped from the flyover and landed on the ground lane.

Onlookers can be heard shouting as the man falls from the overpass in a 5-second video that has been making the rounds on social media.

According to reports, the man was hurt and was taken immediately to the Tamale Teaching Hospital, where he is now being treated.
