According to reports, a farmer in his late 40s fatally shot his kid after a quarrel.

The son, identified as Ankoo, 25, reported  by 3news.com, passed away instantly in the Ahuntumanu village.

Assemblyman Stephen Ackah representing the community confirmed the occurrence and said that the suspect, uncle Awortwe, addressed his son about his misbehavior, which included stealing expensive stuff from his home whenever he visited.

He tried to seize his father’s hunting rifle on the most recent visit, but the latter became enraged and fired at him.

“According to the facts acquired, the now-deceased son’s negative attitude caused him to become a burden on his father.

He is from Kwesimintsim, and everytime he goes to see his father, he takes and sells practically everything from the house.

So, it is alleged that he came to visit his father and exhibited a similar attitude; this time, he wanted to take his hunting gun away.
