In a world where seemingly insignificant actions may have a profound effect, a woman’s birthday party in Anwomaso, Ashanti, became a ray of hope for young girls.

The co-host of Nhyira FM’s Obra show, Eunice Nelson Aweh, also known as Obaa Adwoa, decided to honor her special day by giving 100 sanitary pads to the pupils of Anwomaso M/A Junior High School.

She has a strong personal connection to the menstrual hygiene campaign. She described the difficulties she encountered as a young child growing up in a home where menstruation supplies were considered a luxury.

She felt driven to give back after realizing the quiet agony endured by adolescent girls who do not have access to feminine hygiene supplies.

Both pupils and teachers expressed their sincere gratitude for her initiative.

The terrible reality that many girls encounter in school was brought to light by the Girl-Child Coordinator, Madam Elizabeth Sokakyi.

In order to keep young girls clean, self-assured, and safe, she called on people and organizations to take action and promote menstrual hygiene.

The donation was absolutely transformative for the recipients.

A pupil named Isabel Sosu conveyed her gratitude.

Obaa Adwoa promised to help, providing a forum to elevate the views of students and the institution during difficult times.

Her deed of kindness serves as a potent reminder that even the tiniest actions can have a profound impact on someone’s life.
