In some social media videos, a young man can be heard shrieking amid flogging noises as a neighbor silently records from a window nearby.
People in Ashaiman are reportedly being beaten by military personnel.
Following the recent murder of one of their guys, this has happened.
In other images, locals can be seen being compelled to tumble around in the muddiest puddles that the morning rainfall left behind.
Several military troops in Ashaiman appear to have taken the law into their own hands, moving from house to house and brutalizing locals, according to member of parliament Ernest Norgbey, who verified the incident to Ghanatodayonline.com.
This is in response to viral social media recordings of the event that were recorded by some locals.
Some of these recordings show staff beating and striking people who were outside of their rooms.
The event took place at Official Town in Ashaiman at daybreak on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
As more information becomes available, it appears that the personnel were seeking revenge for the death of a fellow employee who was slain nearby at the crack of morning on March 4, 2023.
