Former Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu has agreed to the NDC’s (National Democratic Congress) reorganization of the front bench in Parliament.

According to insiders who spoke to media, he also appreciates the National Democratic Congress'(NDC) Council of Elders and former president John Dramani Mahama’s influence.

The sources claim that Mr. Iddrisu wishes to keep a “golden silence” about the situation.

He has promised to completely back the new leadership, which is being led by Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, though.

According to our sources, Mr. Iddrisu’s major concern right now is making sure the NDC wins both the presidential and legislative elections in 2024.

Earlier in the day, Muntaka Mubarak, the former Minority Chief Whip, also agreed with the party’s choice in a Facebook post.

The Asawase MP claims he has accepted the decision despite his displeasure since it is in the best interests of the party.

He also expressed his gratitude to John Mahama, the previous president, for becoming involved.

“To all our supporters within and without. I had a lengthy meeting with my big brother, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, on Saturday evening over the parliamentary reshuffle.

“I want to, first of all, thank him for the words of advice and encouragement to me as a younger brother.
