In response to accusations of a money-doubling scheme made against Patricia Asiedua, also known as “Nana Agradaa,” by several members of the public, the police have detained her.

Currently, the suspect is helping the police with their investigation.

“Anyone who is a victim of the suspected money doubling fraud should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action and to assist in the investigation,” the police stated in a statement on October 9, 2022.

Some members of the Heaven Way Church in Weija had already accused their leader, Evangelist Mama Pat, also known as “Nana Agradaa,” of defrauding them and taking their money.

The resentful members of the congregation said that Nana Agradaa made a commitment to multiply their funds through her unique spiritual endowments.

The affected worshippers claimed that after hearing this assurance, they were persuaded to donate her varied sums in the hope of receiving numerous benefits.

However, in a string of popular videos posted on social media on Saturday, the churchgoers who put their trust in the recently converted fetish priestess said their funds had not doubled and Nana Agradaa was nowhere to be found.
