Ghanaians have been urged to support the reset agenda by President John Dramani Mahama, who has emphasized the need of group effort in guiding the country’s economy toward recovery and sustained growth.

During his remarks at the National Economic Dialogue’s launch on Monday, March 3, 2025, President Mahama emphasized the dialogue’s goal of finding workable answers to economic problems and laying out a forward-looking course for the nation’s financial destiny.

In order to reconstruct the economy for the benefit of all Ghanaians, he presented the reset agenda as a national call to action, describing it as more than just a government program.

“We are not here to recount our struggles nor are we here to resign ourselves to economic stagnation. We are here to seek solutions that will put us on a path of growth trajectory and to ensure that we build an economy that works for every Ghanaian,” he said.

President Mahama emphasized the gravity of the situation and called on all parties involved to work together to overcome the country’s economic challenges.

“For me, this is not just another policy discussion, it is an urgent call to action. A crucial moment for us, as stakeholders, to purpose and resolve the challenges that face us,” he remarked.

Key players, such as government representatives, economists, and business executives, are anticipated to use the National Economic Dialogue as a forum to suggest policies aimed at reviving Ghana’s economy and promoting long-term prosperity.
