Joseph Yamin, the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) national organizer, has declared that the party will use retaliatory measures in the 2024 elections.
He was reacting to a previous alleged threat made by Awutu Senya East MP Mavis Hawa Koomson against him, the party’s deputy general secretary, and Mustapha Gbande.
Prior to the 2024 elections, Hawa Koomson is said to have threatened Joseph Yamin, the National Organizer, and Mustapha Gbande, the Deputy General Secretary, to stay away from Kasoa.
It is said that she threatened to physically deal with them if they do so.
However, National Organizer Joseph Yamin stated that the NDC will not submit to intimidation in regards to the 2024 electioneering process during the party’s reorganization event in Kasoa.
Speaking to party members, he declared that the party is prepared to deal with intimidation in any way.
The NDC’s Deputy General Secretary, Mustapha Gbande, for his part, urged the party’s followers to stay steadfast, characterizing the 2024 elections as a turning point in their history.
