Following the Saturday morning fire at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) offices in Talensi Constituency, police in the Upper East Region are looking into a possible arson attack.

According to report, party foot soldiers who were upset with John Millim Naabwomya’s appointment as the District Chief Executive (DCE) may have carried out the attack.

However, since the culprits have not yet been apprehended, Augustine Guure, the constituency secretary, said it is challenging to verify these allegations.

Although he could not conclusively connect the incident to the agitation that had followed the publication of the DCE nominations, Guure conceded that there had been some of it.
