National Executive Committee (NEC) member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Madam Araba Tagoe, has passed away.
Her passing causes sadness in the NDC neighborhood.
At the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, she passed away.
On Sunday, August 14, she entered the hospital for admission.
A son of Auntie Araba Tagoe, Thomas Hughes Amissah, confirmed the demise to
Araba Tagoe passed away for an unidentified reason, but sources claim that she had been suffering health problems for a long time.
Richard K. Mensah, the NDC’s Western Regional Communications Director, expressed the party’s profound loss at Araba Tagoe’s passing.
He pointed out that her leaving is a serious blow and that her absence will be felt painfully.
Araba Tagoe was a prominent NDC member who, among other things, served as the party’s Western Region Women’s Organiser.
Her loyalty to the NDC and her position as Women’s Organiser demonstrated her dedication to promoting women’s rights and their active engagement in politics.
