NPP Confab: Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK) ‘whips’ John Boadu by 313 votes margin

Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK), the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), ousted the existing General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party to become the new party’s top writer.

At the Accra Sports Stadium, Mr. Kodua was chosen to fill the position during the NPP’s National Delegates Conference.

John Boadu came in second with 2,524 votes, trailing him by 2,837 votes as the winner.

Iddrisu Musah, a former mayor of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly, came in second to Mr. Boadu with a dismal 104 votes, followed by Frederick Opare Ansah with 50 votes, and Ramseyer A. Agyeman-Prempeh with a meager 8 votes.

Since his appointment as acting General Secretary in 2015 and subsequent election as a substantive scribe for the NPP,John Boadu has held this position.
